The Hofsas House is a 38 room, family owned hotel located just on the outskirts of downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. You will be hard-pressed to find a more friendly and accommodating staff as the Theis family has made hospitality and guest satisfaction their focus. I suppose that's one of the reasons why many couples come back year after year to celebrate a special romantic occasion!

 

When you first approach the hotel, it is not your typical looking Carmel Inn or Carmel Bed and Breakfast. The architecture is of more of a Bavarian theme. All of the rooms are quite different from one another but they all have that "inn" type of charm and feature dutch doors, cable TV, coffee makers, wireless internet access, and some with microwaves and refrigerators. Some even have a nice partial view of the ocean and/or a fireplace! If you are looking for a spacious room (you won't feel claustrophobic here) with a charming appeal, this is a great place to stay. Some rooms even have a private or shared balcony for even more space to relax together.

 

Your room rate includes a continental breakfast as well as access to their outdoor heated swimming pool (a rare site in Carmel), parking (plenty of it - also a rare find in Carmel), and two dry sauna's.
