Colonial Terrace Inn

This beautiful hotel/inn is located just one block away from the deep white sands of Carmel Beach. At night, with a window open, you can hear the gentle surge of the surf. Being located in more of a residential corner of Carmel, it tends to be pretty quiet at night.

 

This property has a lot of different room types and suites (26) in a variety of buildings (7) that were originally constructed back in 1925. Intermixed between the buildings are a series of lawns and brick patios so that there are plenty of places to relax outside of your guest room (and again the beach is just one block away!). Although rooms vary, all of them feature Aveda bath amenties, daily newspaper, refrigerators, cable tv, wireless internet, and bathrobes (DVD players may be requested). Many of their rooms have a fireplace and some also include in-room spa tub, kitchens, kitchenettes and wet bars. Room views vary from residential and courtyard to partial ocean view.

 

Room rate includes an expanded continental breakfast including fresh pastries (croissants, bagels etc..), granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice and fresh ground coffee.
