SeaVenture Resort

     There are three really nice things about the SeaVenture Resort. First, despite being called a resort, it is a small property with just 50 rooms which means that every guest is very important to them and they can offer personalized services such as delivering breakfast to your room each morning. Second, all rooms have a fireplace and almost all have a  private outdoor hot tub (not an indoor jetted tub - but an actual outdoor hot tub on your private balcony). Third, they are located right on the beach. Not a block or two away - but literally right on the beach.

     From the outside, the SeaVenture looks a bit more like a modern building - in fact, we almost drove past it the first time we visited. However, the guest rooms offer a really relaxed, romantic feel. They are not opulent or elegant or even really "beachey" in design. But the rooms are beautiful - and offer a comfortable place to stay and include a variety of amenities including the fireplace, private outdoor hot tub (most rooms), bathrobes, feather bed, wet bar with refrigerator, cd player. Many rooms have a full ocean view (which at this hotel means a full 180 degree view), partial ocean view (a view many places would sell as a full view) and non view rooms.

     The room rate includes a deluxe continental breakfast delivered to your room each morning (you let them know the night before what you would like). The hotel offers a massage therapy center (couples massage) as well as a full service restaurant and bar on the top floor with outstanding ocean views. For your convenience, they offer the use of beach towels and beach chairs (you have 22 miles of beach to choose from), beach bikes and free covered parking.

- Take a bike ride (front desk can provide routes to different points of interest)

- Order room service and sit by your fireplace and gaze out towards the ocean

- Enjoy a couples massage in their therapy center followed by dinner up in the restaurant
