Bath Street Inn

     Divided in to two separate buildings, the Bath Street Inn offers a total of 12 nicely appointed guest rooms (all with private bath) in an area that is within walking distance to downtown Santa Barbara. The main house, a turn-of-the-century Queen Anne Victorian, features guest rooms that are all individually decorated but maintain the same relaxed, romantic feel you would expect from a European style B&B. All of the rooms in the main house have either one queen or one king bed, beautiful comforters/quilts, TV/VCR (with a very extensive video library) and a design (for example, patterned wallpaper (and historic movie posters), and high back upholstered chairs) that makes it easy to sit back and relax. Some rooms have contemporary features such as in-room spa tub and fireplace.

     An additional four rooms are located in the Summer House. All rooms have either one queen or one king bed and their own private entrance and most have a fireplace, VCR and in room Jacuzzi tub. The most private is "Susans Loft" which has an "air tub" (similar to a jetted tub but with small holes that jet into the tub a steady stream of air that create a soothing, theraputic stream of air bubbles), old fashioned pot belly fireplace and private deck all located on the 3rd floor (no other rooms up there).

     All room rates include a complimentary 3 course gourmet breakfast (all baked goods made fresh on site - and you'll notice how the innkeepers are always busy baking!) and may be eaten in the dining room, living room or out on the garden patio. An evening wine, tea and cheese is also included. 

     The innkeeper noted to us that they have many guest who come to their bed and breakfast for the first time - and are converted to the B&B experience. We could tell by the friendliness of the staff (owners have been long time Santa Barbara residents) and the amazing scents coming from the kitchen that this would definitely be a very nice home away from home for any couple traveling to Santa Barbara.
