     When you drive up through the main driveway of Bacara, you don't know that once you step in to the lobby, you are going to be transported in to a resort that takes you outside of California and places you into some lush, tropical beach front getaway. Spread over 70 acres of lush land, you will feel like you are in your own private hideaway.

     As you walk through their peaceful and quiet grounds, you will pass by white stucco walls and climbing Bougenvillia, tranquil fountains and fragrant plants and bushes. Guest rooms, with arched doorways, Spanish tile floors and beautiful accent rugs, are consistently decorated with a simple blue and white color scheme that is super soothing and at the same time make you feel like it was time to put on one of the luxurious bath robes and sit out on the private deck (or patio). All rooms are appointed with high speed internet access, DVD players, well-stocked mini bars, frette linens and towels and soft Frette robes and slippers. Some rooms feature a fireplace (about half) and all rooms have either a garden, partial or full ocean view.
